AEHDA IT Policy


The objective of  AEHDA IT Policy is to foster an environment that will secure information within the Youth Health and Development community from threats against privacy, productivity and reputation. This policy creates an effective, professional, legal, ethical and equitable IT usage environment across AEHDA countrywide.  Owned by AEHDA Executive Director, this policy will be implemented by the Provincial Coordinators and Project Managers as well as the respective IT Manager.

This policy is binding on all AEHDA offices, including all incoming staff, contractors or consultants who make use of AEHDA IT resources.   This policy is a minimum non-negotiable set to be implemented in regional offices.

Procurement policy & procedure manual AEHDA-2021


This manual is designed to acquaint staff with the procurement policies and procedures of {AEHDA} and provide information about procurement cycle, standards, processes and supporting documentation required to close procurement files for goods and services. {AEHDA} has developed this manual within the context of local conditions, international best practices, donor guidelines and the Afghan laws and regulations. The manual will serve as an on-going reference and guide for {AEHDA} employees in carrying out procurement processes.

Financial Policies & Procedures AEHDA 2021


Excellent financial governance is a necessity for AEHDA and is the responsibility of the entire team. AEHDAO’s policies are meant to provide a necessary structure, a basis for internal control mechanisms, and to maximize staff and Project Coordinator efficiency. Furthermore, they are meant to streamline the organizations’ operations.

The financial and administrative policies and procedures ensure that accurate and reliable financial data is processed and generated by AEHDAO on a timely basis in order to meet our funders’ strict reporting deadlines. In addition, they provide accountability to government, corporate and individual donors. Donors require 100% verification of expenses against receipts. If there are lapses in the system, it can cause concern about the financial integrity of the organization. This, in turn, can lead to greater issues (for example, disallowance of legitimate expenses) that could potentially harm AEHDAO’s overall image with donors....

AEHDA Organization Anti-Fraud and Corruption Policy


It is an honor to introduce the Afghanistan Educational & Health Development Aid Organization (AEHDA)’s Anti-Fraud and Corruption Policy.

The Anti-fraud and Anti-Corruption Policy purports to drive the performance of coordinated actions against fraud or corruption, promote transparency in administration, deter wrongful conducts and foster commitment of (AEHDA) in a fight against fraud and corruption, and to that end it bases or applies enforceable regulations in each of the provincial offices in which AEHDA operates.

AEHDA has developed this policy and applies it to all staff. This policy requires a heightened commitment.

 I thank everyone who contributed to this policy. We look forward to continuing to engage with and learn from others as we strengthen and refine our approach to this important issue.

Child Protection Policy


INTRODUCTION

Many years of conflict have disintegrated the physical, social, and cultural texture of Afghanistan and keep on impacting the lives of children and most of them even don't have access to their basic rights. Child abuse occurs in every country and Afghanistan shows a relatively high incidence rate compared to the neighboring countries. AEHDA believes that access to rights is central for children. All children, regardless of their age, culture, inability, sex, language, wealth, and religious convictions have the privilege of protection from abuse. AEHDA Child Protection Policy is designed to demonstrate a commitment to safeguard children from harm and makes clear to all, what is required with the protection of children. It helps to create a safe and positive environment for children.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this policy are to:

  • To provide safety and protection to the children whilst in the care of AEHDA; and
  • To allow all staff the respond to child protection issues positively with more information and confidentiality.

Security and Safety Policy


INTRODUCTION

More than two decades of war made Afghanistan, one of the worse insecure countries in the world. This means that a special attention should pay to the security and safety issues while working in Afghanistan. AEHDA Security and Safety Policy is designed in order to decline the security risks and enhance the safety for its employees who deliver the services. This policy makes clear to all employee' which safety measurements should take in specific conditions regarding the security and safety issues.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this policy is:

  • To create a system and a mechanism through which AEHDA is best able to implement its current and potential projects in various provinces of Afghanistan through a safe and secured situation.
